Remember the Big Wheel? For Gen Xers, this 16-inch hot rod evokes memories of being a kid. For movie buffs, it might trigger memories of little Danny riding around that creepy hotel in "The Shining."
Budget Rent a Car has added the Big Wheel to its award offerings for its Perfect Drive customer loyalty program. The Big Wheel is an easy Perfect Drive award to earn. All it takes is two qualifying rentals, with a minimum $300 charge, to redeem the award. Existing members need only 500 points.
Budget will promote the award through a nationwide sweepstakes through April 22, in which consumers must answer three trivia questions to enter. During the sweepstakes, the company will award Big Wheels. Prizes also include a weekly rental of either a Ford Explorer, Mustang convertible or Ford Ranger pickup.
