Budget Car Rental Introduces New Mobile App
The free app is available for customers using an iPhone or Android device in order to make, alter or cancel reservations and store customers’ information for future bookings.
Budget Car Rental revealed its new mobile app for the Apple iPhone and Android phones in a company announcement on July 30.
The mobile apps allow travelers to make, view, modify or cancel reservations for car rentals at Budget neighborhood and airport locations throughout the United States and Canada.
Personal information can be stored within the app to save time for the customer at the time of booking. There is also a GPS system feature to help customers locate the nearest Budget facility.
Customers can also enroll in Fastbreak, an express rental service, to store all their rental preferences from vehicle type, ancillary products, and optional coverage and payment methods.
“Travelers are using their mobile devices to access Budget.com and make reservations more than ever before. In fact, reservations via mobile devices have increased by 110% over last year,” said Jeannine Haas, chief marketing officer for Avis Budget Group. “We're excited to introduce these Budget apps and make it even easier to get away and 'Go Budget.”
The app is available for free through the App Store or Google Play.
