LISLE, Ill. -- Budget Rent a Car has introduced a series of last-minute weekend and weekly rates on all car classes. Prices start as low as $13.99 per day for Ford Rangers, when booked online at www.budget.com. Every week Budget will post new specials for last-minute travelers booking through www.budget.com.
Right now, consumers can save from $4 to $44 per day on weekend rentals, and from $10 to $200 on weekly rentals in select markets across the country when they take advantage of Budget's "Last Minute" deals.
For example, between Nov. 14 and Nov. 17, consumers can pick up a full-size car in Chicago for a weekend rate of $22.99 per day or a Ford Mustang convertible for $155.99 per week. Specific savings for each market are listed at www.budget.com.
"Budget updates its Last Minute specials and posts exciting new deals on a weekly basis," said Mike Gavelek, Budget's vice president of marketing. "With Budget's Last Minute steals, no plans can turn into big plans quickly."
At www.budget.com, consumers can also check out Budget's "Plan Ahead" rates for rentals booked online at least three weeks in advance. In addition, consumers can sign up to receive regular notice of discounts and promotions.
