PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Budget Rent A Car System Inc. today launched an incentive program designed to reward travel agents for enrolling small businesses into the Budget Business Program.
Agents who enroll their clients into the business program can receive an additional bonus commission of 7%, for a total agent commission of 12%, during the first year of the client's participation.
"At Budget, we appreciate the role that travel agents play in the industry," said Kaye Ceille, vice president of travel industry relations for Cendant Car Rental Group, the parent company of Budget. "We value their partnership and remain committed to providing them with opportunities to optimize their profitability."
The Budget Business Program offers small businesses a way to maximize their company's travel dollars, and give their employees some of the same perks and benefits often reserved for larger companies.
The program offers free enrollment and benefits to companies, including:
* Low corporate rates with unlimited mileage, or if a lower rate is available at the time the reservation is made, an additional discount of up to 10% off the promotional rate
* No additional driver fees with the corporate rate
* Complimentary Fastbreak Service so that travelers can bypass the counter and go directly to their car of choice.
