Budget Car Rental has announced its 40th anniversary in the Republic of Peru.
In 1973, Budget started with a downtown facility in Lima and a fleet of eight vehicles. Currently, Budget is the leading car rental company in Peru with operations at six locations and a fleet of approximately 300 vehicles, says the company.
Budget serves customers at Peru’s Jorge Chavez International Airport and at its Barranco, Milaflores, San Borja and Surco locations in Lima.
"Since 1973, Budget Peru has been committed to the brand and to serving the car rental needs of its customers," said Patric Siniscalchi, president, Latin America/Asia-Pacific. "We are fortunate to have such a dedicated licensee in place, and congratulate Budget Peru on 40 great years."
From economy cars and vans, to luxury and sports utility vehicles, Budget offers vehicles from manufacturers such as Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Suzuki and Toyota.
Budget Peru is an independently-owned and operated licensee of Budget Car Rental.
