Car Rental Express Promotes Extras Available from Independents
By booking through CRX, consumers can access value-added extras from independent car rental providers.
Many independently owned car rental operators listed on the Car Rental Express site are including extras and other rental options free of charge, according to a company announcement on April 24.
Managers and owners often assist renters at the counter and throw in extras at no cost, including GPS, extra driver, toll passes, full tank of gas and child seats, said Car Rental Express.
Car Rental Express added that independently owned companies can afford to keep rental charges down because they do not have to pay airport fees and they operate with a small staff.
