London-based NoleggioAuto.it launched a price comparison website for car rental companies in Italy on May 23.
The car rental search product compares more than 500 rental companies across 170 countries from brands such as Avis, Budget, Europcar, Sixt and Thrifty, as well as independent operators.
According to one of the website’s co-founders, while there are many existing car rental brands in Italy, there is not a product available for customers to compare deals.
After finding a deal with the website’s real-time pricing, customers can proceed to book a rental. In three steps, customers can choose rental period dates and pick-up/drop off locations, select add-ons including insurance, satellite-navigation or child seats, and finally, make a payment.
At any point of the search or booking process, the company says that its customer service is available in case of any issues.
NoleggioAuto.it said that so far its most popular destinations are Palermo and Catania.
