car2go North America LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler North America Corp., has exceeded 65,000 members in Calgary, Canada.
Launched in July 2012 as car2go’s seventh location in North America, car2go Calvary has expanded to a network of 550 smart fortwo vehicles.
"Getting where you need to go, when you need to go, is fundamental to our everyday lives," says Jon Wycoco, location manager of car2go Calgary. "We truly thank the city for seeing the value of our one-way car-sharing service since day one, and giving our fellow Calgarians the flexibility to drive where they need to go, and park there with ease.”
“Our rapid growth to over 65,000 members in Calgary is a true testament to our work, and we look forward to continue providing the community an exceptional service that enhances the quality of their everyday life," adds Wycoco.
