car2go is bringing its full carsharing service to Toronto, according to a report by The Canadian Press. The company says it’s tired of waiting for the city of Toronto to establish parking regulations for shared vehicles.
car2go’s carsharing vehicles have been restricted compared with its other cities because members haven’t been allowed to leave the smart fortwo vehicles on the street in legal parking spaces, says the report.
car2go says it has tried to get the Toronto city government to establish regulations for parking carsharing vehicles on the street, but it won’t wait any longer, according to the report.
As long as car2go members abide by the company’s parking guidelines, car2go says its members won’t have to pay for parking tickets, according to the report.
