Launched on the App Store this month, Carla’s mobile app will recommend personalized car rentals for users based on their travel needs.
Similar to the tinder dating app, Carla users can swipe cards to choose the rental car that fits them, according to the company.
The Carla app doesn’t feature the tabular format of cars listed one after another. Instead, the app allows users to see one car at a time, says the company.
Carla is available in 20,000 locations and 150 countries worldwide. Users can compare rental cars from 850 companies, including major car rental companies such as Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National, Sixt, Hertz, Alamo, Thrifty and Europcar, says the company. It offers several car makes and models.
The app provides best price/performance options, and it allows users to view upcoming and past trips, says the company.
