Carol Sewell Named Vice President of Marketing for ADESA, Inc.

ADESA Inc., North America’s largest publicly traded provider of wholesale vehicle auctions and used vehicle dealer floorplan financing, today announced that Carol Sewell has been named Vice President of Marketing, ADESA Inc., effective November 27, 2006.

“Sewell has more than two decades of experience in all aspects of marketing and advertising,” said Chuck Tapp, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for ADESA Inc. “This is a key position for our company and I’m confident that she has the knowledge and leadership skills to take our marketing efforts to the next level.”

Sewell has managed brand strategies and marketing programs that delivered against a wide range of objectives. Her work in corporate positioning, advertising, investor relations, sports marketing, sales promotion, and product branding broke new ground in the financial services industry and won numerous awards. Prior to joining ADESA, Sewell served as Vice President, brand development for Conseco, a Fortune 500 financial services company.
