CarTrawler, an online global car rental platform, has announced a partnership with Hotels.com, the online accommodation booking website.

This deal will enable partners of both Hotels.com and CarTrawler to sell car rental, private transfers, and now hotels through the direct implementation of CarTrawler’s existing technology platform, which is used by 95 airlines and 2,000 travel retailers around the world.

“This partnership is about removing technology barriers,” said Bobby Healy, CarTrawler’s chief technology officer. “CarTrawler’s fast-growing partner base already has access to the world’s best-converting ancillary platform, and they have been asking us to broaden our ancillary offering. This development shows we have listened. With both ground transportation and the global accommodation offering of Hotels.com covered in one simple, white label integration, our partners have a one-stop shop to quickly and effectively implement all non-air ancillaries.”

“We are excited to work closely with CarTrawler to help travel partners maximise ancillary revenues across accommodation and ground transportation,” said Adam Jay, SVP of marketing and product for the Hotels.com brand. “Hotels.com provides a high-converting and mobile-ready B2B platform, selling a full range of global accommodation, and this collaboration with CarTrawler is a very natural step for both companies as we look to make things simple and profitable for partners.”

This partnership follows the recent launch of Hotels.com for Partners, a new online platform that allows partners such as airlines and travel companies to white label or co-brand with Hotels.com, providing access to Hotel.com’s list of hotel rates and availabilities.
