CarTrawler, an online global car rental platform, has been appointed as the exclusive car rental provider to Ireland’s Aer Lingus.

“The CarTrawler team here in Dublin is delighted to now include our national carrier amongst our valued partners,” said Mike McGearty, chief executive officer of CarTrawler. “We look forward to playing an active role in providing Aer Lingus passengers with the greatest choice of car rental brands and value offers wherever they require car rental — as we currently do for more than 50 of the world’s airlines.”

“We are pleased to welcome CarTrawler on board as a partner,” said Stephen Kavanagh, chief strategy and planning officer at Aer Lingus. “Our focus is to offer our customers more choice, low fares and an enhanced travel experience.”

CarTrawler provides online travel retailers with a direct connection to over 1,200 leading and independent car rental agents in over 30,000 airport and city locations across 174 countries, says the company.
