CarTrawler, an online global car rental platform, has announced a partnership with Renfe, the national rail provider of Spain.
This partnership will provide Renfe passengers with direct online access to more car rental providers, according to CarTrawler.
“I’m pleased to announce this partnership between Renfe and CarTrawler,” said Michael Cunningham, CarTrawler’s chief commercial officer. “Renfe’s 30 million passengers already have access to an extensive, reliable rail network — now CarTrawler will take their travel experience to the next level by enabling them to rent a car with their train ticket on the world’s best-converting travel platform. Renfe’s customers will be able to organize their end-to-end transportation needs wherever they are going with the minimum of fuss, with direct access to a full range of leading car rental providers.”
“We are announcing Renfe Viajes with the aim to offer our clients hotels, car rental, and leisure activities from renfe.com, along with leading partners in each sector, guaranteeing a minimum price and providing new value to our website and our loyalty program,” said Ramon Azuara, general director of Renfe Viajeros.
