ChargePoint Partners with BMW for San Francisco Car Sharing
ChargePoint charging stations will be available to service the BMW ActiveE electric vehicle as part of the DriveNow and ParkNow programs.
ChargePoint, an online global charging network, partnered with BMW for its electric vehicle (EV) car sharing service in San Francisco, the company announced Sept. 25.
BMW’s DriveNow program provides drivers the opportunity to experience BMW's first all-electric vehicle, the BMW ActiveE with zero-emissions.
ChargePoint connects the new charging stations throughout San Francisco, Burlingame, Palo Alto and Oakland.
Users can locate available ChargePoint stations though the in-car information system, online at www.chargepoint.com.
