CheapCarRental Survey Ranks 50 Most Expensive U.S. Car Rental Rates
Anchorage, Alaska has the highest car rental rates while Columbus, Ohio has the lowest, according to a survey from CheapCarRental.net.
The latest survey from CheapCarRental.net ranked 50 cities in the U.S. based on their car rental rates pulled via CarTrawler from June to August 2012.
The highest average daily price for “the cheapest available car” was in Anchorage, Alaska at a price of $95. Honolulu, Hawaii ranked second at $94 and the third highest rental rate was in Washington, D.C. at $81.
The cheapest rental rate was in Columbus, Ohio with an average of $28 per day.
