Cheap.co.uk, the travel extras comparison company, updated its website to include a wider range of car rental vehicles and services at more locations, according to a company announcement on April 23.
According to a company spokesperson, the website will feature a new quote requests page, results area and a new list of locations. “Our current service is provided by Holiday Autos and while its results will still show on the site, there will be further suppliers and more competition,” said the unnamed spokesperson for the car rental department of Cheap.co.uk. “Ultimately comparison services either work or fail based on the prices, so the more suppliers we can offer the better.”
The upgrades were worked on in conjunction with www.carhire.co.uk. “This new system also includes an auto update facility so whenever carhire.co.uk increases either their list of suppliers or change any of their locations, it will automatically update on our system also saving us future administration time.”
The new website will benefit both customers seeking the best deals on car rentals, airport parking and travel insurance, and the company for business purposes.
