CIRAS Graduates from Car Rental Show Announced
Here are the seven graduates of the Rental Car Professional certification program, which was provided at this year’s Car Rental Show.
At this year’s Car Rental Show, seven attendees passed the Rental Car Professional (RCP) certification program, which was developed by the Center for International Retail Automotive Standards (CIRAS). The graduates include Katy Hoyle, Pamela Pizappi, Javan Matthews, Robert N. Mitchell, Shantelle Ford, Andretti Samuel and Sharon Rashti.
“The graduates coming from the Car Rental Show are scoring amongst the highest of all the graduates in the last five years,” said Arzu Algan, co-founder of CIRAS and dean of education for the Automotive Dealership Institute.
The RCP certification program aims to equip car rental employees with the proper knowledge to run a profitable car rental company. Presented by Jim Schalberg, principal of Jim Schalberg Auto Rental Training, the four-hour course covers topics such as the value of a rental day, customer service procedures, collision damage waivers, specialty rentals, incremental sales and marketing. The RCP certification program was launched at the 2009 Car Rental Show in Las Vegas.
