Working with the Nottingham City Council, City Car Club will launch a car-sharing program in Nottingham, England, on May 12, according to a report by the Nottingham Post.
City Car Club members will be able to rent one of the eight vehicles located throughout the city of Nottingham. For small to medium-sized cars, hourly rental rates start at $8.25 and daily rates start at $83, says the report.
“We’re really excited to be launching in Nottingham and we’re confident that we can provide a valuable addition to the transport mix, for both local residents and businesses,” James Finlayson, managing director of City Car Club, told the Nottingham Post.
Users can book a rental through the City Car Club website, mobile app or over the phone, says the report. The vehicles can then be accessed through a user’s club card and a unique input number.
