Daimler Introduces Mercedes Pay Mobile App
The German company will be implementing the mobile payment service for its divisions such as car2go and mytaxi.
Daimler is introducing its Mercedes Pay platform for all customers of its mobility services, according to a report by NFC World. These services include car2Go carsharing and mytaxi, a mobile taxi booking app.
The payment system will allow users to “easily and securely pay for mobility offerings and services using their smartphones,” Daimler told NFC World.
The service will be launched following Daimler’s acquisition of PayCash Europe, a mobile payment solutions provider, says the report.
