Vehicle hire service Day’s Rental is the latest company to sign up to Free2Move’s Connect Fleet services. Through Free2Move’s telematic insights, Day’s Rental will digitally link to its 8,000 vehicles for fleet management.
A range of 1,500 Peugeot, Citroën, Vauxhall, and DS Automobiles vehicles are already in Day’s Rental fleet. The Free2Move Connect Fleet service bring them streamlined fleet inventory management, vehicle delivery and collection, and vehicle maintenance.
Michael McCarry, managing director of Day’s Rental, said: “The team at Day’s Rental will always embrace the next technology, so when the opportunity arose to give our ‘Stellantis Fleet’ vehicles the ability to publish to us all mechanical alerts including live odometer, fuel, and charge status for EV’s, we added this. Now giving us 24/7 & 365 days visibility, we can ensure that all alerts are actioned via our V-Check system, which in turn saves money, reduces downtime, but more importantly the vehicles remain safe and road worthy.”
Part of the Stellantis Group, Free2Move is a mobility tech company that aims to simplify and guarantee mobility for both private and business customers with solutions via a single platform. It also supports energy transition and fleet management.
