In Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland of Canada, Maurice Sweeney reported last week that his car rental business Delta Rental Car and his maintenance service shop were both destroyed in a fire, according to www.gfwadvertiser.ca.

Sweeney said that two rental cars were destroyed, along with the counter space and his adjacent maintenance service shop. More rental vehicles would’ve been destroyed in the fire, but a majority of Sweeney’s fleet is stored at his house, according to the article.

Until the office is rebuilt, Sweeney will be operating the Delta Rental Car out of his home. Him and his father have been in business for a combined 70 years.
