Discount Car and Truck Rentals Offers eConcierge Program
eConcierge will create a personalized Web site for Discount customers, who make online reservations, based upon their trip itinerary. The eConcierge platform, which is available online or as a simple desktop shortcut, provides essential destination information, virtual tours, driving and weather reports.
Discount Car and Truck Rentals, the largest Canadian-owned car and truck rental provider, has joined direct marketing, print and fulfillment company, Contac Services Inc.'s, roster of eConcierge clients.
"The eConcierge platform allows us to engage and interact with our customers from the instant they make a reservation to the moment they return," said Herb Singer, president and founder of Discount Car and Truck Rentals. "The program offers added value and convenience by providing our customers with an enriched experience not currently found in the car rental industry."
For every Discount customer that reserves a vehicle online, eConcierge will create a personalized Web site based upon his or her trip itinerary. The eConcierge platform, which is available online or as a simple desktop shortcut, provides essential destination information, virtual tours, driving and weather reports.
In addition, eConcierge offers the convenience of booking accommodations, entertainment, travel insurance and restaurant reservations online. Customers also have access to a line of travel merchandise and accessories.
Fully integrated with social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, eConcierge encourages customers to return frequently to their PURL and upload photos, create personalized photo albums, and share their experiences on social networks.
"We're thrilled the eConcierge platform has been adopted by Discount Car and Truck Rentals," says Contac's President and CEO, Riaz Pisani. "It represents a breakthrough for the Canadian vehicle rental market and offers unique marketing and customer retention solutions for this industry."
The Discount eConcierge platform is launching in more than 300 locations across Canada.
