TAMPA, Fla. -- Dollar Rent A Car Florida President Peter Guptill has been elected chairman of the board of directors for Visit Florida, the state's tourism marketing corporation.
Guptill will preside over the board through the 2002-03 fiscal year. His new position also automatically makes him vice chair of the Florida Commission on Tourism, which is chaired by Governor Jeb Bush. Guptill has been an active member of both the Florida Commission on Tourism and the Visit Florida Board of Directors for the past four years.
