Dollar Opens New Knoxville Location
New corporate store is located in-terminal at McGhee Tyson Airport. Passenger volume is projected to grow 3.5 percent at the airport.
Dollar Rent A Car, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc., today announced the opening of a new in-terminal location at McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennessee.
"Knoxville is a vibrant business and tourism market, and there's no question it's a place Dollar Rent A Car needs to be," said Scott Anderson, Senior Executive Vice President of Corporate Operations. "Passenger volumes are projected to grow 3.5 percent annually at McGhee Tyson Airport, so it's important that Dollar is on hand to provide consumers with a great car rental value in the Knoxville marketplace."
Located inside the airport terminal, the new Dollar Rental facility will be open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight, catering to a mix of customers that is expected to be about 50 percent business and 50 percent leisure.
