DriveMyCar Expands UberX Rental Service in Australia
DriveMyCar, a peer-to-peer car rental platform, has expanded its uberX rental service to Queensland and Victoria.

DriveMyCar, a peer-to-peer car rental platform, has expanded its uberX rental service to Queensland and Victoria.
DriveMyCar allows UberX drivers to rent out cars on a weekly basis from $179 with no lock-in contracts, according to the company. The price includes 150km per day, insurance for accidental damage and theft, and roadside assistance.
The launch coincides with the legalization of ridesharing in Queensland and Victoria.
DriveMyCar launched its car rental service for UberX in July and all available vehicles — including Nissan, Toyota, Holden, Jeep, Audi, and BMW — were rented. In August, UberX rentals increased by 93% on the platform, according to the company.
