DriveNow Offers Convertibles in Carsharing Fleet
DriveNow, the carsharing joint venture of the BMW Group and Sixt, has added Mini Cooper convertibles to its carsharing fleet in London.
DriveNow, the carsharing joint venture of the BMW Group and Sixt, has added Mini Cooper convertibles to its carsharing fleet in London, according to a report by Business Car Manager.
This is the U.K.’s first convertible carsharing fleet, says the report. Available for a rate of 32 pounds per minute, 40 Mini Cooper convertibles will be available for rent in North and East London.
The two-door, four-seater convertibles will be available in midnight black and pepper white, says the report. Additionally, DriveNow’s London fleet also offers 30 electric BMW i3 models.
“With summer fast approaching, we thought it was the perfect moment to launch our fleet of convertibles,” Joseph Seal-Driver, DriveNow’s managing director, told Business Car Manager.
Since its launch in London, DriveNow currently has 310 vehicles available for its carsharing service.
