DriveNow, the joint venture of the BMW Group and Sixt SE, has surpassed the one-million customers mark in the U.K., according to a report by FleetNews.

"One million customers is a great milestone for us and we’d like to celebrate it together with our users,” James Taylor, managing director of DriveNow UK, told FleetNews. “Since DriveNow’s launch in 2011, carsharing has grown massively in importance and has become a common mobility option in many large cities.”

DriveNow’s BMW and MINI models are used up to 23 times per day by customers in all of its cities, according to the report.
