Eco Rent A Car has been given the National Tourism Award by the Ministry of Tourism as the Best Ground Transport Company in India.
The award ceremony took place at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, and the award was given by Pranab Mukherjee, president of India, Sumitra Mahajan, speaker of the lower house, and Mahesh Sharma, Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

Eco Rent A Car has received this award the last two years.
With expertise in corporate ground transport, Eco manages ground transportation for over 500 large businesses such as Microsoft, IBM, Accenture, Adobe, Dell, and Honeywell, according to the company.
“It is more special because we have won this award twice in a row, and we accept the fact with gratitude that this wouldn't have been possible without the support of our valuable customers, employees, and well-wishers,” said Rajesh Loomba, director at Eco. “This makes our commitment stronger to exceed the level of quality which is expected from us. Thank you!”
Founded in 1996 by Khem Raj Loomba post his retirement from the Indian Army, Eco Rent A Car began with three cars in the capital city and has grown in size, now employing 500-plus people and managing a fleet of over 3,000 vehicles. Currently, it has offices across 60 cities in India.
“We are passionate and professional at the same time and follow this ritual every minute,” said Aditya Loomba, joint director at Eco Rent A Car. “Be it our chauffeurs whom we refer to as pilots or any experienced manager, we do everything keeping the customer at the center.”

Eco maintains a diverse fleet, ranging from economy vehicles such as Toyota Etios, Honda Amaze to luxury cars and SUVs like BMW 7 series and Audi Q7. Additionally, two Chrysler limousines have been imported from the U.S. to cater to the luxury segment and wedding industry, according to the company.
