Enterprise Holdings’ careers and recruitment website has been updated to include information about the company’s military heritage and ongoing military support.

The website includes employment opportunities for transitioning military personnel, veterans, members of the National Guard and Reserve and military families, says the company.

Last year alone, nearly 2,000 military veterans and reservists launched new careers with Enterprise Holdings, which owns and operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands, according to the company.

The content for this website came from current veteran and reservist employees, who make up more than 10% of the company’s U.S. work force.

“We have always had a substantial number of employees with military backgrounds,” said Pam Webster, assistant vice president of talent acquisition at Enterprise Holdings. “We also have highlighted our military roots on our Enterprise Holdings corporate website and our Enterprise Rent-A-Car reservation site for years. But we didn’t have a dedicated recruiting resource that spoke directly to our employees’ experiences and skill sets — so we looked for a way to connect our own military story with theirs.”

As a result, Enterprise not only established a military-focused career and recruitment site, but also an online internal resource group for employees with military experience to come together and network across the company.

Enterprise’s support of the military focuses on three key areas – recruitment and hiring, local operations and community relations. In addition, Enterprise Holdings operates rental facilities on more than 60 U.S. military bases, says the company.
