Members of Enterprise Car Club, the U.K.-based carsharing service, now have access to a brand-new mobile app, available for the first time on Android as well as iOS.

The app has been designed to make it easier for users to find, book, and access a vehicle in their area from their mobile phones, according to the company.

It is free to download and provides access to Enterprise Car Club’s fleet of 1,300 vehicles, located in on-street bays and car parks in 23 cities and many towns throughout the U.K.

The new app features geolocation to find vehicles closest to you, feature search to look for a vehicle with certain features like satellite navigation or Bluetooth, ability to create, modify, or cancel reservations, and business/personal toggle to switch between your business and personal accounts.

Users can unlock and access the cars via the app on their mobile phones as well as with their membership smartcards, according to the company.

At the same time as the new app, Enterprise Car Club has also enhanced its website to offer similar functionality, including the improved search and booking tools.

“We’ve designed our new app for digital natives who like car clubs, because they are all about ease and convenience,” said Dan Gursel, managing director of Enterprise Car Club. “Wherever they are, at any time of the day, members can make and manage their bookings, quickly finding the right vehicle at the closest location.”
