Working with Enactus as a recruitment partner for nearly 15 years, business, nonprofit and community leaders gathered at Enterprise Holdings global headquarters this week to preview the local impact of Enactus, an international nonprofit organization that encourages university students through entrepreneurial action.

Co-hosted by Enterprise Holdings and KPMG, a professional services company, the event featured remarks from Enactus’ National Exposition host committee and a special presentation from the Enactus Fontbonne University team.

“These outstanding graduates have brought tremendous skills and traits to our company such as leadership, project management, work ethic, empathy, communications and critical thinking,” said Chrissy Taylor, senior vice president of North American operations, Enterprise Holdings. “They are a perfect match for the type of people we’re looking for to lead our future business growth and success.”

This pre-expo event gave guests a taste of the ideas that will be presented at the Enactus National Exposition April 13-16 in St. Louis, says the company. The National Exposition annually showcases student projects with the momentum to create new careers, spark business innovation and deliver social impact.

Enterprise has been averaging more than 120 Enactus alumni hires each year, according to the company. Most full-time employees are hired into the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Management Training (MT) program or Management Internship program.
