Enterprise Expands Car Club to Portsmouth
The addition of car club vehicles at this new, bigger branch, will help to meet a growing need for on-demand vehicle rental, from both businesses in the area and local residents looking to rent vans.

In addition to renting vehicles in Portsmouth, Enterprise Car Club members can also access the U.K.’s most extensive car club network of 1,100 vehicles parked on street in more than 30 major towns and cities.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car, part of the world’s largest vehicle rental company, is introducing Enterprise Car Club vehicles at its new branch in Fratton, Portsmouth, in Hampshire, England.
The addition of car club vehicles at this new, bigger branch, will help to meet a growing need for on-demand vehicle rental, from both businesses in the area and local residents looking to rent vans.
The new facility features four Enterprise Car Club bays for customers who want to access a vehicle 24/7, 365 days of the year. Customers will also be able to rent an expanded range of vehicles from the Fratton branch on a daily basis, including a wider range of commercial vehicles and tailgate lift vans for the first time.
While the branch is already open seven days a week, customers can now also access the new Enterprise Car Club vehicles around the clock, booking and opening the vehicles with a mobile app, even when the branch is closed.
In addition to renting vehicles in Portsmouth, Enterprise Car Club members can also access the U.K.’s most extensive car club network of 1,100 vehicles parked on street in more than 30 major towns and cities. Many Enterprise Car Club vehicles are located at transport hubs or railway stations to make it easier to travel around the U.K.
Enterprise Car Club membership is available to anyone 19 years or older and costs from 7 pounds ($9) per month or 60 pounds ($79) per year. Vehicles are available from 4.95 pounds ($6.53) per hour including VAT and 21p (26 cents) per mile.
