As part of its European expansion initiative, Enterprise Rent-A-Car has expanded its operations to Belgium, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Bosnia Herzegovina and Macedonia. Enterprise Rent-A-Car now operates in 19 European countries with more in the works, according to the company.
Enterprise’s European franchise network includes locations at major airports, says the company. The company’s growth is directed at increasing service, choice and value to international travelers, especially to the current business and leisure renters.
“Customers who enjoy the Enterprise experience at home want to be able to rent vehicles from us when they travel abroad,” said Peter Smith, Enterprise vice president of global franchising. “This is why the expansion of the Enterprise network in Europe is so important. It has been driven by our culture and a belief that great things happen when we listen to our customers.”
Currently, Enterprise is available in Ireland, the U.K., Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria, The Netherlands and Croatia. According to Enterprise, it will continue to expand to other European countries in 2014.
