Enterprise Foundation Donates $100,000 to Earthquake Relief in China
The contribution to the American Red Cross will aid in the relief efforts in the aftermath of the earthquake that shook China on May 12.
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation has donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross to assist in the relief efforts in the aftermath of the earthquake that shook China on May 12, the company reports.
The donation reflects the company’s concern for the well-being of employees with extended family and friends in the region. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Taylor Family of St. Louis, which owns and operates Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car.
Started in 1982 by Enterprise Rent-A-Car founder Jack Taylor, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation was established to allow the company to give back to the communities where its customers and employees live and work. The Foundation has contributed nearly $100 million to thousands of registered nonprofit efforts since its inception.
