Working with nonprofit SkillsUSA South Carolina at its recent Leadership and Skills Conference, Enterprise Rent-A-Car supported collision repair education by providing vehicles for repair contests.
The event took place March 26-27 at Greenville Technical College’s McKinney Automotive Center. It featured students from nearly 80 schools who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations.
Enterprise provided four identical, late-model vehicles for use in vehicle repair contests during the conference, according to the company. The contests tested the students’ repair skills related to specific National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and automotive repair knowledge areas, including vehicle maintenance, collision repair, automotive refinishing and estimating.
