Enterprise has issued a statement taking full responsibility for providing a Florida woman with a rental car with an unregistered license plate, according to a report by Fox 4.
Fox 4 reported that the woman received two traffic citations and her local Enterprise office told her they would take care of them for her. However, nobody from the company showed up for the court date and the seven-and-a-half month pregnant woman spent seven hours behind bars.
"We are terribly sorry this happened to Ms. Hawkins. We put her in a horrible situation, and we are going to work with her to make it right. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, so we can make sure to take care of Ms. Hawkins," Enterprise said in a statement issued to Fox 4.
