SPOKANE, Wash. -- Enterprise Rent-A-Car has opened a new location at the Spokane International Airport. Known as the non-airport rental car company, Enterprise recently began expanding its airport operations and now serves 99 of the country's top 100 airports.
In addition, Enterprise was recently ranked highest in customer satisfaction among leisure rentals at or near airports, according to a nationwide study released by J.D. Powers & Associates.
"Our new Spokane International Airport location is a direct response to our customers who want the same personalized service and low prices at the airport that we offer at our non-airport locations," said Bill Gardner, regional vice president of Enterprise's Eastern Washington region.
In fiscal 2001, Enterprise recorded annual sales of $6.3 billion with the majority of that business coming from non-airport operations. Today, Enterprise is still a small player in the $9 billion-a-year airport market segment, but continues to expand its airport operations.
"The goal for Enterprise is not to be the biggest airport rental car provider, but rather the company that is sought out by air travelers because they prefer the Enterprise brand of service and its favorable prices," said Gardner.
