Growth Fueling Employment Opportunities

Enterprise Truck Rental is a service of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which has delivered local transportation solutions to customers for more than 60 years and is an integral part of North America’s transportation infrastructure. Enterprise first began renting commercial trucks in 1999 and, a decade later, started offering truck rentals for personal use in response to customer demand. Today, personal use accounts for 20 percent of Enterprise Truck Rental’s business.

The opening of the truck rental facility in North Dakota is part of a broader strategy to increase Enterprise Truck Rental’s North American presence and better serve customers’ transportation needs in new and existing markets. In fact, after opening 40 new locations in 2017, Enterprise Truck Rental is on track to open an additional 40 locations across the U.S. this year.

In addition to offering customers more convenient truck rental locations, the expansion is creating new career opportunities throughout North America. The Fargo truck rental team consists of four full-time employees – one branch manager, two senior account specialists and a part-time service agent.

Many employees begin their career with Enterprise in the renowned Enterprise Rent-A-Car Management Training Program, which teaches Management Trainees how to run a business, empower teams, and provide excellent face-to-face customer service.

Enterprise’s promote-from-within culture encourages success among employees, allowing them to move up quickly based on their performance and work ethic. And with a breadth of job opportunities and business functions, Enterprise offers employees the opportunity to change careers without changing companies.
