Enterprise Holdings plans to hire nearly 8,500 college graduates and more than 1,500 interns into its Enterprise Rent-A-Car Management Training Program and Management Internship Program, respectively.
In addition, other full-time time opportunities such as positions in information technology, accounting, administration and support roles, are also available through the company at both regional offices and at the corporate offices in St. Louis.
Overall, Enterprise Holdings will hire more than 11,000 full-time employees this year, including its 8,500 new management trainees, says the company.
“We put people in a position to succeed immediately, and we promote almost exclusively from within – that makes Enterprise an ideal choice for those just beginning or reinventing their careers,” said Marie Artim, Enterprise’s vice president of talent acquisition. “For more than five decades, thousands of highly motivated, customer service-focused employees have been rewarded with plenty of opportunity and enjoyed tremendous careers within our company.”
According to the company, both the management training and management internship programs include training in a range of business skills, including profit and loss management, business-to-business marketing and sales and logistics planning.
“Our senior leadership team, including President and CEO Pam Nicholson, all started out in entry level positions at Enterprise,” said Artim. “And because we promote from within up to our senior ranks, management trainees are crucial to building the next generation of leaders at our company.”
