Enterprise Rent-A-Car Donates $2.8 million to United Way
Enterprise Rent-A-Car of Southern California recently donated more than $2.8 million in pledges to the United Way of Greater Los Angeles's 2004-05 campaign.
ST. LOUIS -- Enterprise Rent-A-Car of Southern California recently donated more than $2.8 million in pledges to the United Way of Greater Los Angeles’s 2004-05 campaign. Contributing to that number were nearly 800 employees giving $1,000 or more, the company announced last week.
Employees’ donations totaled more than $1.8 million with the company giving 50 cents to every dollar employees donated. This makes the third consecutive year that Enterprise has donated more than $2 million.
Enterprise’s pledge program has grown from $623,000 donated in 1997-98 to this year’s total. Its contributions have earned the company the program’s Leadership Award for five years in a row.
President of Enterprise of California and Hawaii Greg Stubblefield is also the chairman of the board of the United Way of Greater Los Angeles this year.
