Enterprise Reports 25 Percent Increase in Holiday Car Rental Reservations
The company reports a continued rise in demand year over year for holiday bookings.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car reported Dec. 12 that advance reservations at neighborhood locations are up by more than 25% compared to last year.
Steve Short, VP at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, attributes the increase to the popularity of holiday travel, and that travelers turn to rental vehicles as newer and reliable options when it comes to planning road trips.
“Year-over-year we’ve generally seen an increase in reservations for the Christmas holiday,” Short said. “The continued rise in holiday reservations suggests people are thinking of car rental as a convenient and reliable resource as opposed to other modes of transportation.”
