Enterprise UK Appears on Top 10 List of Diverse Companies
Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the UK was assessed by Business in the Community (BITC) based on its gender and ethnicity diversity practices as one of the most diverse companies in the area.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car UK was selected as a “gold” category employer by Business in the Community (BITC), according to a company announcement on Nov. 8.
Enterprise was assessed against 25 separate employment and leadership criteria, including recruitment, workplace policies and career progression as well as supplier diversity and diversity in customer relationships.
The award places the company amongst the 10 most diverse businesses in the UK.
“As a community-based car rental company, diversity makes a lot of sense for our business,” said UK Managing Director for Enterprise Rent-A-Car Mike Nigro. “Our commitment is to represent the communities we serve whilst employing the best talent we possibly can.”
According to BITC, Enterprise UK is the first car rental company to be included in the organization’s list of top 10 diverse companies.
