Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the U.K. has been named in “The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2015.” The unranked, alphabetical list highlights companies that demonstrate gender equality as a key part of their business strategy.
This year’s recognition marks the 10th consecutive year that Enterprise has appeared on the list.

“Our focus is on creating a workplace where women do not face barriers to success,” said Leigh Lafever-Ayer, the HR director for Enterprise UK. “We know that supporting the ambitions of women to reach senior positions is good for Enterprise, as diversity helps drive business success. … We’re hugely proud of this achievement — it reflects our successful initiatives and hard work to make Enterprise a company that truly represents U.K. society.”
Any employer with a U.K. presence can enter, according to the company. The submission process requires organizations to submit information on their internal processes, as well as external activity that promotes gender equality, diversity and inclusion — creating opportunities for women in a wider context.
The list is published in partnership with Opportunity Now, the workplace gender campaign from Business in the Community.
