Bluemove is a Spanish tech company in the carsharing market. Established in Spain in 2011, it currently operates in the cities of Madrid, Seville, and Malaga and is planning to launch soon in Barcelona and Valencia.
This acquisition will allow Europcar Group to further accelerate the development of carsharing through Ubeeqo, according to the company. Ubeeqo is currently operating in three European countries — France, U.K., and Belgium — and will soon open in Germany and Spain (through Bluemove).
