Europcar Launches Free App for iPhone
Customers can reserve vehicles, view deals, book amenities and cancel reservations from their iPhone.
Europcar launched a free app for iPhones, according to a Feb. 14 press release. iPhone users can reserve vehicles or search for details on any of Europcar’s 5,300 stations across 150 countries.
With the Europcar app, customers can view details on rates and promotional offers to find the best deal for car rental. They can also book any extra amenities they might need, such as satellite navigation or child seats. Additionally, travelers can change or cancel a reservation.
Once booked, vehicle rental is confirmed over the phone, via text message or email. As of now, the service is available in seven different languages.
“As the market leader, it is important for Europcar to move with the times and continue to innovate to anticipate changes in the way customers use our service,” said Ken McCall, managing director of Europcar Group UK. “The launch of the app forms part of our commitment to embracing new technology and meeting the ever-changing needs of our customers.”
