Upon the closing of Best Buy Mexico, Europcar Mexico CEO Antonio Llinas Oñate is inviting workers to apply to be part of the Europcar team.

The businessman explained that, although the turn is completely different, he firmly believes that they will be able to adapt without problem and that he plans to offer training to all those interested in joining Europcar to enhance their skills.

"We have been the mobility solution for many people for many years, but this time we wanted to be part of the solution to a bigger problem," Llinas said in a statement.

Additionally, Llinas announced the acquisition of 2021 vehicles to replace its fleet of 2020. Recently, Europcar Mexico acquired a large number of 2021 model vehicles that are being distributed in all their locations in Mexico, from Cancun to Tijuana and from Los Cabos to Tapachula.

The new models include the Chevrolet Onix and Tracker; Kia Rio and Forte; and Toyota Corolla.

“We are very happy to have a new fleet, totally new and available to our most distinguished customers," Llinas said in a statement. "These actions are part of a strategic plan to modernize our fleet and avoid having the same vehicle for so long, especially in these crucial moments due to the COVID-19 outbreak."
