With every Europcar rental, members of Emirates Airline’s frequent flier program (Emirates Skywards) will be eligible to earn up to 1,000 Skywards Miles.

“It is a great opportunity for our group to partner with Emirates Skywards, the award-winning frequent flyer program from Emirates,” said Marcus Bernhardt, chief commercial officer of Europcar Group. “We share a common customer focus: both our brands stand for high quality and customer satisfaction. This move will help us pursue our expansion in this growing market.”

Under the new partnership, Emirates Skywards members will earn 600 Skywards Miles on rentals at all Europcar locations — gold and platinum members will be eligible for an additional 200 bonus miles per rental.
Additionally, all Skywards members will earn a total of 1,000 miles when booking a premium Europcar vehicle, according to the company.

“We are constantly expanding Emirates Skywards to create a frequent flyer program that takes our members far beyond the immediate travel experience, rewarding loyalty with exclusive privileges and other benefits,” said Brian LaBelle, senior vice president of Emirates Skywards. “New strategic partners, such as Europcar, give additional opportunities to earn Miles, and we are committed to offering more choice and flexibility.”

Miles will be credited up to eight weeks after the transaction and can be redeemed for a range of awards, including flights and upgrades, hotel accommodations, sporting events and more, says the company.
