Europcar has added 55 all-electric Renault ZOEs to its rental fleet in the U.K., according to a report by Edie. This is the biggest U.K. order of electric vehicles for the French car manufacturer Renault.

The electric vehicles will be used for Europcar’s Deliver & Collect service where employees will deliver rental vehicles to customer homes and workplaces, says the report.

“The addition of the Renault ZOEs at many of our city branches, enabling our employees to get to and from our branches without expending any emissions, makes the Deliver & Collect service all the more environmentally friendly,” Gary Smith, Europcar U.K.’s managing director, told Edie.

The all-electric vehicles help Europcar with its goal to ensure that 5% of its U.K. vehicles are electric by 2020, says the report.
