In search for Europe’s best in-car karaoke singer in the country, Europcar UK launched the “Caraoke Competition” through its Facebook page on July 20.

Participants will upload a video singing a song from a designated playlist of classic hits via YouTube onto Europcar’s UK Facebook page. The grand prize winner will be determined by the most number of “likes” it receives to drive away in a Fiat 500.

Europcar is also hosting two roadshow events to boost the number of entries. Those looking to enter can record their videos on-site in Bluewater, Kent on July 28 or Bullring, Birmingham on August 11 during the events.

Aside from the grand prize, participants will have the chance from July 25 to August 22 to win other weekly prizes ranging from Amazon e-vouchers, Eastern Airways flights, an overnight stay plus dinner and breakfast at select hotels, Garmin Navigation systems, Samsung Galaxy Tablets, driving experience packages and spa days at the hotel resort Stoke Park.

“From car rental to social media strategies and campaigns, our objective is to keep Europcar at the forefront of the marketplace by implementing innovative techniques that drive the business forward and change consumer expectations of car rental,” said Europcar Managing Director Ken McCall. “With Caraoke we aim to reach a new audience — raising awareness of Europcar’s innovative car rental services to the social media savvy population.”
